The Scriptures We believe that all the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are the Word of God, fully inspired and inerrant in the original manuscripts, and that they are the infallible rule of faith and practice.
The Godhead
We believe there is one living and true God, eternally existing in three persons; the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, equal in power and glory; that this triune God created all, upholds all, and governs all.
God The Father
We believe in God, the Father, perfect in holiness, wisdom, power, and love; that He hears and answers prayer; that He rules over all and is the only Sovereign; that he is faithful, and that He saves from sin and death all who come to Him through Jesus Christ.
Jesus Christ
We believe in Jesus Christ, God's only begotten Son, conceived by the Holy Spirit. We believe in His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, and teachings; His substitutionary atoning death; bodily resurrection; ascension into heaven; perpetual intercession for His people; and personal, visible return to earth. We believe that He is one and the same as God. He was fully human and fully God.
The Fall of Man and Redemption
Man was created in the image of God but fell into sin and is therefore lost. Only through spiritual life, obtained through the shed blood of Jesus Christ and his resurrection provides justification and salvation. John 1:1-3, 12, John 2:2, Genesis 1:26, 27, Hebrews10:4-14, Romans 3:10, 23
Water Baptism and the Lord’s Supper
Water baptism and the Lord’s Supper are ordinances to be observed by the Church during the present age. However, they are not to be regarded as means of salvation. Matthew 3:6,13 -16, Mark 16:16 Luke 22:19
The Holy Spirit
We believe in the Holy Spirit, who came forth from the Father and Son to convict the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment and to regenerate, sanctify, and empower in ministry all who believe in Christ. We believe the Holy Spirit indwells every believer in Jesus Christ and that He is an abiding Helper, Teacher, and Guide. We believe that Jesus Christ baptizes the seeking believer with the Holy Spirit and power for service, either at the time of or subsequent to regeneration, which is a separate work from the indwelling Spirit for salvation. We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit and in the exercise of all biblical gifts of the Spirit as reflected through the fruit of that same Spirit.
The Return of The Lord
In the personal, pre-millennial and imminent return of our Lord Jesus Christ, our bodies will be changed to be with God. This “Blessed Hope” has vital bearing on the personal life and service of the believer. 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18, Revalations 1:7-8
The Nature of Man
We believe all people are responsible for their own sin and that because of sin all are inherently separated from God.
The Nature of Salvation
We believe that on the cross Jesus Christ became sin, providing salvation for all mankind. Only by trusting in Jesus Christ as God's offer of forgiveness can man be saved from sin's penalty. Eternal life begins the moment one receives Jesus Christ into his life by faith. We believe the inward evidence to the believer of his salvation is the direct witness of the Spirit. The outward evidence to all men is a life of righteousness and holiness.
The Sacraments
Water baptism and the Lord’s Supper are ordinances to be observed by the Church during the present age. However, they are not to be regarded as means of salvation.
Eternity
We believe man was created to exist forever. He will either exist eternally separated from God by sin, or in union with God, through forgiveness and salvation. To be eternally separated from God is Hell. To be eternally in union with Him is eternal life. Heaven and Hell are places of eternal existence.
Evangelism
We believe that disciples of Jesus Christ are to share the good news of the Gospel with people of all nations, baptizing those who believe, and teaching them to live in obedience to His Word.
